For 8 years, Darrell worked for one of the largest insurance companies in the United States. As a manager, he hire, trained, and supported a large claims office through developing supporting a company business education plan. At Principal, he created several Computer Based Training program that was used throughout the company. He also gained valuable management experience and knowledge in Human Resources.

I have worked for the Seminary and Institute program for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, for 25 years. I have a front row seat to what is happening in our public schools, since we share the same students.

Online Seminary Program Developer. I worked with a team of designers to create an online seminary program for LDS students K-9 to K-12. This Blended Learning program is now being used by thousands of students worldwide. I have participated in developing an online Institute program for College students ages 18 to 30. My current assignment is an Online Seminary Coordinator in the Salt Lake South East Region.

Brigham Young University Idaho  Pathway                                                                                     For almost a decade, I have worked as an Adjunct Online Professor in the BYU Idaho Pathway Program. Teach and facilitate several online classes each semester. My students come from around the world, learn online asynchronously and connect synchronously.

My wife Lisa and I both work with the Especially For Youth (EFY) program with Brigham Young University. We have the opportunity to work with youth throughout North America in the summers. A few of the places we have taught are, Santa Barbara California, San Antonio Texas, Calgary Alberta Canada, just to name a few.

My wife and I have attended BYU Education Week for the last 35 years, every August. I have taught for Brigham Young University during several Education Week Programs.
